An extended dowel on the front of the home offers ample perching for a wide variety of birds, while the long horizontal shape accommodates a plethora of avian visitors at once. The downward slanting roof overhangs the entrance for additional protection from unpleasant outdoor elements, while also providing proper drainage. A pair of predrilled holes on the back of the item allow you to easily mount it to a tree or wall for simple placement in your yard, or mount it to a post using a mounting bracket (not included) for variable display. The sturdy pine construction will prove reliable for several seasons, and will age to a striking gray color over time and with repeated exposure to the elements.
