We make a habitat for every species of cavity nesting bird in North America. All of our products are correct for the species, easy to clean, well insulated and provide for the proper drainage. Every house includes an educational brochure specific to the species.
The Barn Owl is a year-round resident throughout much of the United States. Barn Owls prefer open to semi-open habitats such as prairie, farmland, savannah, marshland, and desert, but prefer the vicinity of farms and towns. The Barn Owl will breed in all months except January in North America.

The Barn Owl's house should be placed high in a tree or inside a barn or shed. These highly valued, rodent-eaters like open farmland, but may also live in a suburban area. Our Barn Owl House provides plenty of space for the female to raise her young and comes complete with wood shavings for nesting material. This very large house can be cleaned out through its large entrance hole. Due to size this nest box ships partially unassembled with easy to follow instructions. Some assembly required. Eastern White Pine construction. Made in the USA!

These pine shavings provide an annual replenishment of nesting material for woodpeckers, ducks, owls, etc. Better than sawdust, which can mat down and retain moisture. Sold by the gallon bag for individual houses. 10-1/2" x 10-1/2"
